Get on target with our top-of-the-line archery equipment. Learn the basics of range safety, firearm management, Paralympic shooting skills and scoring taught by local experts. Participants must be vaccinated, if eligible, or have an approved exemption to participate in NSCD programs.

We look forward to seeing you at Salvation Army Red Shield located at 2915 High St, Denver, CO 80205. 

What to expect at a day of NSCD Indoor Archery:

  •  Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your program at the location provided. 

  • Meet your NSCD instructor at Salvation Army Red Shield and get outfitted for your archery experience all provided by the NSCD. 

  • Athletes will be outfitted with any adaptations needed to be successful on the range. 

  • Once outfitted, the athletes will be introduced to the range, safety rules and commands to follow while shooting. It is critical that all participants and staff listen carefully to the safety instructions provided at this time.

  • Athletes will be taught the skills needed to safely experience the sport of archery.

  •  Athletes will try sport in a noncompetitive, “challenge by choice” environment allowing them to experience archey with on range instruction, full instructor support, and adaptive shooting systems. This will help athletes of any ability be successful and safe when pursuing the sport.  

  • Following your program, the NSCD will facilitate a full debrief to cover the skills, goals, and experiences of the days program.
